Question spyder extra - bad co2 leak

I just bought a new Spyder extra and used it once. It worked great, but eventually chopped a ball, so I took it apart to clean it. I only took out the rear bolt parts, not the valve parts on the front of the lower bore. The parts were essentially clean, but oiled and reassembled all. When I screwed on the co2 tank, it leaks terribly out the front cover of the lower bore, where the valve is. It leaks whether cocked or not. I took the bolt apart a couple more times, carefully reassembling the rear parts per the parts illustration, but same result. I took the cover off the valve, and looked inside (didn't remove valve) but all looks clean.

What am I doing wrong? Everything was done on a bench, didn't lose any parts, and a brand new marker!

Check all o-rings and if that doesnt work cup seals are known to go bad for pretty much no reason, and always lead to barrel leakage. Try that for now.

It's not leaking out the barrel or bolt, but out the front end around the low pressure chamber. I contacted Kingman, explained the problem, and told them I thought it was the low pressure chamber seal. They told me to send it in, so I did. Hopefully they can fix
it.

i hope they cover the cost for you. It sounds like it was an easy fix though. most likely a bad seal on your braided air line.
