yeah that's about right. looking at the two side to side it seems as if the vs1 doesn't' have a delrin bolt, regulator and a few other things.

do you know if the VS1's stock feedneck unscrews? because my stock feedneck is so stiff with the gun that it feels like its glued in there.

No, its cause the VS1 is a POS after Thanksgiving Dinner when compared to the VS2! In english, the VS2 out-performs the VS1 by a mile. They usually loctite the feednecks. A hairdryer, and vicegrips will get it off there. Put ia tissue into the breech to prevent locticte from getting in there. Hope this helps.

It should unscrew, though it is probably loctited on there. To remove it, take a hair dryer, and a pair of vice grips and heat up the feedneck, then vice grip it off of there. If after a while, it doesn't start to unscrew then stop and take it to a shop, because it might be permanently attached.

ok,.. i tried that and it wouldnt come off,.. so im figuring its permanently attached so i have to go buy a clamp to keep my halo on it (the halo feednecks fits over this one, thank goodness, but the feedneck slightly stretches) same goes with my VL 200

They make the neck adaptors in almost like a wax material, and in a cheap plastic with two thumb screws. I would suggest the waxy one [almost like really flexible, bendable plastic.]

yes, i have two of those but i dont like them because they leave the hopper way high up and its hard to manuever it around on the field in tight spots.. so im going to go buy a cheap neck clamp,.. hopefully itll help keep the hopper on

Oh, did you mean a clamping feedneck? Sorry. Get a q-lock feedneck.
