HPA remote/grease

Does running remote affect performance when running HPA? I have a heavily modified Spyder TL with a electronic trigger using a steel 3,000PSI HPA tank. I run remote for flexibility and tank weight.

Also, is there a cheap alternate grease/lubricate for cleaning your marker?

Thanks in advance!
HPA

Using a remote will not affect the performance of your tank or marker. There is really no cheap alternative to cleaning and lubing your marker. Synthetic Air gun oil is not expensive at all and Dow Shocker grease is pricy, but you use only a small amount on your o-rings only that it lasts a long, long time.

yup, its called Dow 33. Or at a paintball shop its called Shocker Lube, or Smart parts Sleek. It should only be used on o-rings, as it acts as a swelling agent to make your o-rings seal better. Don't use it on a delrin bolt as it cause the bolt to swell making the bolt stick. delrin is a self lubricating nylon a usually does not require lube. Other products I use and like are Battle Lube, PMI Synthetic Air gun oil, and Tri-Flow with Teflon.
