i just got a brand new spyder pilot acs about a week ago (havent gotten to test it out really because its a tad loud with the stock barrel). this brings me to my questions about the gun.

ive played paintball before but never with a good gun, and the lack of instructions they provide you with was weird to me.

1. which way is lower on their velocity adjuster, (clockwise/counterclockwise)?
2. what is a good paintball to use in it? i was using visible impact because it fit in my viewloader and brass eagle but it just falls right through the barrel on the spyder. (and how tight should paintballs be in the barrel as well?)
3. ive also heard that the barrel is pretty bad. is the empire revolver a good upgrade? because im thinking about taking the barrel off my brass eagle because its quieter and less ported.

1. read your manual. I suggest doing this beofr eyou touch your marker again, just fro good measure
2. so long as it's fresh, it should be ok. Stay away from Wal-Mart paint though. Sounds like you may have bad detents, call up kingmann, explaint he problem and hopefully they'll fix it.
3.jet a J&J ceramics or a CP barrel.

i read the manual but they didn't really touch on the velocity adjuster. and i was referring to the barrel itself, when removed from the gun. im probably gonna do one outing this weekend with the stock barrel then upgrade it for a bigger game on black friday.

oh that's fine. the onyl marker it's important for is with autocockers because the barrel has to actually hold the ball the way detents do.

allright cool. ive been told by enough people that the J&J is good that im probably gonna wind up getting it in a week or two.

clockwise turns up velocity. but if your using c02 it isn't gonna be consistent enough to really dial in the fps. the stock barrel was fine for mine when I had it, but a J&J will more then definitely be better. after that do nothing to it until you are ready to buy a better gun imo a spyder with upgrades is still just a STBB(Stack Tubed Blow Back with 100+ in it.
