Okay... I'm going crazy. I got the Stainless Steel braided hose kit for my shutter. I get it all fitted and everything, then I test it. Leaks co2 out of the top fitting closest to the block. So I'm tearing it back down to throw some teflon tape around it, and the fitting and the end of the hose will not come apart. I ended up stripping the head on the end of the hose, and it is still stuck in the fitting. Any advice? I payed like 25 bucks for this thing after shipping and handling and everything. I'm not in a good mood now at all... Any help is appreciated. Thanks

you managed to strip a nut? how did that happen? I'm not really sure what to tell you except to complain to whoever you bought ti from that they sold you a crappy item.

And I just rounded off every edge on both the end of the hose and the nut on the fitting.

were you using the correct size wrench? sounds like you were not. did you use lok-tite or anything on it when you first installed it?.

here's my advice, get some chanel lock pliers and clamp them as tight as you can around it. If that doesnt' work I'm not sure what to say

I used an adjustable wrench to tighten it, channel locks are what stripped it when I couldn't get it out... I'm wondering if maybe I accidentally crossthreaded the fitting and end of hose. I'm gonna go to the proshop and throw more money away at a new one. ahhhh

Actually, I'm gonna go clamp it in my vise and use the old channel locks.. If it doesn't work it doesn't work. Lesson learned though... Use teflon tape before you tighten them. oh well.. thanks for your help.
