need help with a ball chopper
My friend has an old spyder victor II and its chopping like crazy
i have it at my house and i was cleaning it and working on it
im using a ricochet apache so the problem isnt the hopper
im not really smart with markers so im not exactly sure why the balls are being chopped
any one know why or what i can do to fix this, other than shooting slower... cuz i want to beable to shoot fast with it, so if i have to buy like a new bolt or something if that fixes it i will
so any info well help, thanks

are you trying to shoot it fast when it's chopping or is it chopping no matter what?
If you tip it forward, does a ball roll out?
what velocity is it shooting at?

It could very well be that your hopper isn't keeping up. If you want a cheap alternative, look for a cheap eggy. It's a semi-force fed hopper that you can buy used for nearly nothing. I bought one when I had a spyder and only chopped twice with it ever. Once i got a faster marker though, it really started holding me back so i went with a halo.(now that i think about it, I still have it. It's a 1-1 clear blue one that needs a new lid that I don't need anymore pm me if you want it)
yes that feedneck should work, assuming your current feedneck is held in by two screws.
15 bps is nearly unattainable without eyes. you could get an ACS bolt, but even then I wouldnt' count on it.

here's a little secret, it will NOT feed 20 bps. I'd say it will average 7-10 bps. whihc is about as fast as you'll be able to shoot steadily.

also what about this bolt for the spyder... it says its top cocking does that mean i can use it like the stock bolt to pull back on?

All hopper advertise to feed faster than they actually do, it's something you learn to live with.
you can only use that bolt if you cut the top off of the back of your marker.
