Big MR2 Problems
I have a MR2 that I bought brand new recently and have yet to have a good experience with it. Every game a ball is broke in the elbow below my hopper. It gums up my gun and fowls the bolt. I have tried diffrent balls, a diffrent elbow, please does anyone else have an idea?

Its a Battery Ran Halo. The problem seems to be (from a non-expert view) the balls break near the elbow. I have tried my factory, gravidy fed hopper and it still has issues. If I take it completely apart, clean it, and start shooting again it works fine until I break another ball. I have tried shooting in warm weather, cold weather, cheep balls, expensive balls, bent elbow's and straight. Very frustrating. Any help is welcome.
Thanks.

sounds like you've gto blowback issues. tak eoff you hopper, and put a piece of paper top of your feedneck. if it flies of dramatically, you'll need to buy a bolt with o-rings on it to get a better seal. Or you can cut slots for orings in your current bolt if you've ot a drill and something to cut them with.

What paint brands have you tried? It could be brittle paint. Also try checking the elbow, their could be some burrs or something that are cutting open the balls.

I will try the tissue test. Thanks. I have tried several types of paint, all break equally. Thanks for all the good info. If you can think of any more please forward on.

the exact names would be helpful, hell it might be the whole ball chopping issue side feed guns have had in the past.

You know, this might actually be a good time to try a small amount of MonsterBalls. Quite honestly, they almost never beak. Not in guns, and not on people either. If it's still chopping with MonsterBalls, you got a problem.

Practice paint, that's what I use mine for now. I practice snap shooting and just shooting in different positions in my backyard with the MonsterBalls I have left over.

but how would that solve anything? even if they did shoot, he's left with paint that won't break on anything or fly straight.

I have used Core Prime, Special Ops, Marbilizer, Diablo, Scorched, and some very cheep stuff that I didn't know the name of. All this is very good discussion, as to I am at my wits end with this gun.

hm...
Check the inside of the feed tube itself (not the elbow), and the bold for burrs?
Maybe you just got a badly mad MR2 with burrs.
