I recently got my VS2 so of course I'm just starting to have a look at the upgrades and options for it. This being my first marker, I didn't really understand all the talk about the electronics in these things that I'd read 'till I actually took mine apart. Now that I see how it all works (kinda) I'm wondering what the electronic board upgrades are all about. A look at Action Village shows the Scenario Dreams, Virtue and Tadao boards available. I'm not really looking to upgrade the electronics quite yet, I am just wondering what the reason would be to do so. What exactly to these new boards do? Are they worth looking in to eventually? Are there other boards out there besides the ones I just mentioned that are worth a look? Is there really any difference in the boards?

Well, the upgraded boards usually give the user more adjustability, and more modes to shoot in. Right now, unless you're really looking into going into some serious tournaments (which you aren't, trust me, maybe small things, but nothing big) than you might need more firing options, but most small tourneys only use semi and psp ramping, which i believe the Spyder already has.

Nah, I don't really see myself ever getting into competitive paintball. It's just for fun. I guess I won't worry about upgrading the electronics.
