so im new to paintball and i love it. i am going to buy a vs1 package online that has everything i need. i was wondering what upgrades should i think about getting. i think my first upgrade is going to be a 14" J&J ceramic barrel, do u think thats a good choice of a barrel? should i make it longer or a different brand? do you think there is anything more important than a new barrel? i also will probably get an electric hopper also, do you think those are worth it? or do you think a regular hopper will be fine for a while.

Get an electronic hopper, and don't go cheap either. The J&J 14 inch is the perfect barrel for that gun, also look into a ccm feedneck for it as well.

wat exactly does the feed neck do?

It hold your hopper onto the gun, getting an aftermarket one will get rid of that adapter that comes with it making your hopper sit like 4 inches lower.

it holds the hopper onto the marker, iv heard the stock one is junk, also since you are already getting a new hopper and barrel you may want to concider just putting together your own package, heres my resoning though, usually those packages get you a decent marker but then everything else is sub-par, im guessing it comes with 12 or 16 oz co2 tank, but you can get a 20oz tank for a few bucks more that either of those, also the mask, get a good mask, thats the best thing you can invest in, preferably one with a thermal lense not a anti fog coating or something like that, thermal lense or double lense (they are the same thing) that way it wont fog the anti fog coatings iv never seen good things from

That mask is horrid. Just buy a VS1, V-force profilers, 2 20 oz co2 tanks, the feedneck stated, a VL eye force hopper, a J&J barrel, and a cheap pack and some 140 round pods and you will be set to play.

i dont have that kind of money im just trying to get a begginer package for now and then as i improve i will buy better equipment.

I highly suggest you just save up for it then, because you will be spending a decent amount more money in the long run.

do what I did with my VS1

Buy a 14" J&J Ceramic Barrel
and try to find a VL Force hopper for $15

Thats what I got so far, I got the money for a feedneck but Idk if I should save for a 48/30 steely, the feedneck, or a Virtue board

MASK OMG!!!!!! you cant shoot what you cant see! not to mention the safety aspect of it all! have you all gone nuts! your telling him to put the feedneck and barrel in front of a good mask! that package is a good price but your gunna end up replacing most of it, since the vs1 has eyes i wouldnt worry too much about the hopper, you wont be able to get huge rates of fire with the shake and back one but you wont be choppig and thats the important part. for now with your budget id say go with the package but replace the mask ASAP
