I have a Spyder Shutter and went to play paintball recently after my gun sitting for awhile. Screwed on my air tank, seemed fine for a minute or so and I walked away from my gun. Had a friend come get me cuz it was leaking bad all of a sudden. It leaks from the small, open hole located within the warning label on the side opposite of the gauge. I'm not sure what can cause this? I'm confused as to way there is an open hole there in the first place and how I would fix it? Can someone please help?

there's an oring that needs replaced inside the regulator.

I replaced the O rings on the piston in the regulator but it still leaks out that hole. This is the hole i am talking about. (The O ring on the tank is fine also and it leaks the same with the pressure regulator screw all the way in or all the way out....im not sure what is causing this)



To be honest, im not even sure why that hole is there? It's not threaded so there was never a screw in it to seal it?



Another thing I noticed to make me even more confused is some don't even have that hole? I dont understand? Clearly its supposed to be there in mine above because the words are spaced to make room for it

I did that. Changed the O Rings on the piston inside the regulator and on the CO2 tank, but that hole where it leaks out of is like in an area between where the piston sits inside and where the thank screws into. I dont understand why it is there or how it was plugged up when the gun was working.

when in doubt, buy a new asa

yea I agree. somthing is wrong inside of the ASA. if you can't figure out how to open it up and fix it, it's better to just buy a new one. You could also call or email kingmann and see if they can give you more help. I've honestly never seen a regulator like that before. I think it was only made that way for a few years.

At any rate, you don't need a regulator for a Spyder.

Where do I find a new ASA for it?

I'll try kingmann I guess, i haven't used the gun to much so Im not sure why this would even be happening. If i could find a way to seal that hole so air didnt leak out then everything would be perfectly fine.....
