New Boards/eyes?

Alright, I've been out of hte loop and since my cocker went down a week ago I had to use my e99 today and well I was just wonderin what it would cost to put that Tadao and eyes in my spyder. Anyone know the website, release date, and prices? Also, anyone test it yet? I wonder how nice it is, I saw some teaser videos.

With a stock E-99, how fast could I shoot if i had the IS board. Does it all matter on the hopper?

check out www.scenariodreams.com .. t-board. its capped @ 36 bps, but IMO is a much better board. Like savint the settings when you turn it off, a low battery light, AVAILABILITY, and from what i hear, better customer service. BUt either board will shoot basically as fast as you can pull the trigger ( most ppl ~ 16-20 ). I suggest a 5 g radio shack switch, and either a new trigger, or grind the middle hump opff the stock trigger and pull the trigger spring out.

The 50G switch dosnt workwell from radio shack. I got about 8 and installed them all and added the magnetic trigger from radio shack as well (the magnets). Not really effective IMO.

But I would go with the IS since a new software version is coming out. Suppost to be really good. You get it free even if you allready bought one. But im not totally sure on what this upgrade does.

The 50 gram switches from radio shack are not really 50 grams, that is just because of that lever on them. Once you remove that they become a little heavier then stock I believe. You can modify them to be lighter(I can post instructions if anyone is interested) but otherwise, buy the ones from nero at PBN.

ok.... i've got 2 right now and they work freakin awesome. I'm easily pulling 18-20 bps no doubt. walking the trigger is like nothing because just a tiny tap on the trigger will make it fire. The t-board will soon confirm my bps. Also putting the 5 g on my The One which comes in today, we'll see what the shot counter says.
Oh and it is 5 G, not 50 g, i repeat, 5 grams, FIVE grams, Cinco gram, cinque grams, one, two, three, four, FIVE grams. I dont see why no body believes that and think its a 50 g.

They have both 5 and 50 gram triggers. The stock is about 75 I believe.

I will type up some instructions if I have some time later today.

no, stock is like 200 g. and i haven't been able to find 50 g on the radio shack website, OR in the stores. I'm pretty sure they're all 5 g.

You can get just about any weight micro switch you want, You just have to find someone that sells them. Nerobro from PBN had a couple different ones. The 5 gram is almost too light because anything will set it off.

Don't go with too light of a microswitch. You want it to be able to snap back into the original position as quickly as possible. If you were to go too light it would actually slow your ROF.

A little more techy, but does anyone know how kingman times their ROF? The stock board seems fairly simple and I wonder if it would be a simple matter of changing a capacitor (NOT the big one, it's used for the 'noid pulse!) or resistor assuming they don't use a crystal clock in the microchip. It might make for a fun project someday if I get bored.

I havent figured out how kingman controls the cap of the board or the rate of fire. I think it would be easier just to buy one of the new boards, and probably less prone to error as well.

yeah, thebmicro switch doesnt have the proble with coming back, and it doesnt make you shoot slower, but it might be to light of a pull for some people, because yucan set your gun off by shaking it a little bit

one thing that helps to prevent the that is if you wrap foil around the top of your trigger where the pin goes through.. wrap it really tight, and get a good fit , and it wont fire wiht you hit the side. It seems to be a problem witht he stock trigger because its so heavy too. My ACP slasher doesn't , and now with foil my stock modded trigger doesn't either. And the pulls are set VERY close.

What is the stock one rated at "g" wise? It's a little too light for my taste. I could always go with a stronger trigger spring, but that would still be mushy like a keyboard instead of having a snap like a mouse button. I would prefer to have a nice clean pop feel hard enough to quickly return but soft enough to avoid finger fatigue. Definately stronger then the stock one. That would be the best combo for me speed wise.

why in the world would you want a stiffer one. The stock one is plenty stiff if thats what your looking for. If not then stretch out your trigger spring, and that'll stiffen if up. I guess if you want to limit your self to 5 bps you can do that.......have fun.
