Thats just co2. Its normal stuff. HPA will also male it cool but not cold. A regulator would help a little bit. Other then that you cant help it. Gloves I guess.

Anti-siphon will help because not as much liquid will get in the gun. It does greatly reduce it, howeer the gun will still freeze sometimes.

Acctually I never had a gun that was operating on co2 not be cold. Weird. I had a reg and expansion chambers and gloves but I still felt the cold. Maybe this is something gun designers can think about? Hmmmm.....

I rent a HPA tank at my field - $4.00 and fills are free. Can't go wrong there.

they sometimes run in the upper hundreds for a good solid tank, but others cost in the 200-300 range. and yes it is the same.

Yah, that came out a little bit ago. The only problem is taht most fields can only fill up to 4500 psi anyways, so it is almost a waste.
If you are looking, crossfire is probably going to be your best bet. I got a crossfire 68/45 fiberwrapped with a cover(highly reccommended or else it can get ruined very easy) and fill nipple cover(keeps dirt out) and thread protector(not neccesary, bur good to have) for 200. I get quite a few shots out of it and it is REALLY nice. Way better than co2, and you cant freeze your gun.

If you fire an HPA tank continually for a while it will become VERY cold as well... Your gun will too. I was trying to figure out why my cocker was starved for air so I shot almost 1500 psi out of my tank before I realized it was because I hadnt screwed in my on/off all the way
and my gun got really cold, as did the valve on the tank.

HPA cant freeze your gun. Have you ever touched the tank after it has been filled? It is very warm. The compressed air will most likely be around the temperature it is in, maybe a little warmer, but it wont get cold enough to cause trouble.
