i don't bash spyders, nor why anyone would, besides their actual flaws. people who just say they suck without any justification are wrong. but i don't think you should jump to conclusions about how high-end guns aren't that "high-end". i recently upgraded from a spyder to a timmy, and the differences are immesurable. (however, i did buy my timmy used, with a very nice package, and for cheap, so I didn't pay a fortune for it).

True outlaner, but one thing I always loved about my old spyders was the fact that even if my gun went down, I was back playing again in like 15 minutes beacause that's all it takes to fully strip, diagnose, and repair almost any spyder problem. That, I like.

www.xpaintball.com has it. I ordered mine and it is coming on the 30th. Im adding the test to my sticky on a pre built kit. I will let you know how it preforms on air and co2.

I've checked it out before, and I've even played around with a ONE. I, personally, would like to keep my Spyder blow back and just get a BKO. The BKO is much smaller and tighter than a Spyder, and I think I'm about ready for a new gun. Don't get me wrong, I love my Xtra, and I will probably never sell it, it's just that I don't want to turn my gun electro-pneu. I'd much rather buying a gun that is electro-pneu out the box.

I now shoot an Ebladed cocker, but I still have my Xtra and it's great. Most of my friend's either shoot Piranhas or Spyders, and they get me out just as often as I get them out, because it is still the player rather than the gun(With a little bit of luck thrown in when your balls go right where they're supposed to). But I'm fascinated in the way higher end guns function, and so I wanted one. My higher ROF does make it easier to provide supporting fire for my teammates when we play against each other, though.

Example: Yesterday, I had my back to a trail in the woods where the guy from the other team was coming from.. I knew he'd come from one of the trails I just didn't know which one. He fired at me a few times, and I got a bounce. I turned around and was able to fire off about 8 shots before he could fire off 2 or 3. I eliminated him, basically due to being able to throw more balls. But later in the day he ran by my bunker and when I popped up (I knew he was coming) I didn't know exactly where he'd be, so he had the drop on me and eliminated me.

So when you have two players of almost equal skill, the marker can make a difference, but in most cases, the gun makes no difference whatsoever. But I still do not regret the purchase of my Nightkast.

I hate people who say stuff about are spyders. I have a victor and that good enough for me. I didnt have the money at the time to buy a $800 cocker, so if there not gonna give me some money to get a new gun they can just shut there mouths.

Tippy users *cough*. No some have shot them. Regardless the tippy and spyder conflict is debatable but the tippy users have no room to talk about there guns.

BTW why was this posted in the kingman forums? No one is gunna bash them here?

Well its stating the obious if you ask me. Of course we arn't gunna bash on spyders but others might. Then again this is gunna turn out to be a tippy V.S. spyder thing so bleh. Leave it at that.
