Well i went out to play today, and i played about two games and then my gun wouldn't fire. I took it apart and found out that the sear?(the thing that comes down and lets the striker go foward) was really quite and wouldnt come down far enough for the sticker too move. i've tryed new batteries but thats about it. Its just something wrong with the trigger being too weak to let go of the striker. Anyone else have these probelems? Please help me out and sorry if it isn't really clear.

ok you might have a bad cap..inside the trigger frame there is a black thingy that looks like a small AA battery if one of the contacts came unwelded it would click real low and make it sound like your battery was weak..take your grip off disconect the battery carefuly unplug the connectors from the board take out the two board screws and pull your board out.the cap has two solid metal wires coming out of it and going into the board.check those wires to see if they came unwelded or if they broke off..if you are unlucky like me they broke on the cap side and you need to buy a new one..mines is still broken

what the cap does is it stores a charge of electrical energy....

Well, because you said that the sear was not going down far enough, to me that sounds like a problen with the salinod. The salinoid is that silver thing in the grip frame. When you pull the trigger, it pushes the switch, the switch then tells it(the salinoid) to go foward. This is what pushes the switch down. (You can see this real well if you take of thew grips.)

What to do? I say e-mail, or call KingMan, and ask if you could send it in for a new peice, or just ask then what you asked here.

What you described sounded to me like low battery, because that is what mine just sounded like.

Or, maybe you have too much pressure behind the hammer. It might push it agenst the sear so hard that it won't relese...Just a thought. Try bringing you volicty down and you can tell whats still wrong if there is still some thing.

Well the sear isn't going down far enough because it seems like it does'nt have enough power(the silver thing that pushes the sear). And is it real easy to damage anything in the grip while taking it apart?

Not if you just take off the Grip Panels. I have takes and put back everything 8578743857 times, and everything is is great order. You might wanna talk to KingMan though, it does sound like the salniod....

Yup that was what was wrong. One wire was off. Do i have to send it into kingman or is there a way i can do it at home? and does it need to be welded in or what? Also is it bad to dryfire(with no CO2) just to see if its working you know just dryfire electonicly/.

try soldering the wire back on, but if u dont want to do that, just call up kingman, and imsure they would be happy to fix it, and its ok to dry fire, it wont hurt anything

if you have any experience with a soldering iron you can do it yourself pretty easily (or if you can find someone who knows what their doing with a soldering iron). If you dont know anyone who can solder then look for an electronics repair shop. It shouldnt take them more than 5 minutes to fix it (4 minutes to warm up the soldering iron, 1 min to fix), so it should be cheap.

i'm glad i could be of help and i am sorry that is the problem..
in my case the wire broke were it meets the cap not were it meets the board.
so welding it is impossible ..believe me i solder electrical boards all day long and i tried everything but it would just come loose again and again..

but if it broke at the board (wich i doubt) all you have to do is buy a soldering iron at radio shack for like $7-$10 bucks. olso buy soldering flux.
the soldering flux has to be for electrical devices..heat the iron up for like 10 minutes place a small amount of flux at the base of the wire to weld..place a small amount of welding wire at the tip of the soldering iron you should have a small puddle of weld on the tip of it now..now place the wire to be welded touching the board were it broke.holding it in place with your hand place the soldering iron in between the board and the wire touching both..if all goes well you should have two joined pieces of metal and a working gat...

Well mine didn't break at the board it broke on the "cap". I guess i have to send it in too kingman and by the way how long does it usualy take for them to fix it and send it back?
