cockers are great guns, but they are more complicated to maintain. Spyders are easy to maintain and once they are upgraded they are also great guns. i say just upgrade

If you have that cocker in your profile, upgrade. If the spyder is your only gun, sell.

I'd say keep it. The only advantage cockers have over blowbacks is that there is less kick when fired. The fact that they are much more complicated, expensive, and harder to maintain makes it not worth the scratch if you ask me. I'm not sure of the gas efficiency of both of them. If you are itching to upgrade add a new barrel, antisiphon (unless your ASA is already downangled) electro feeder and possibly a regulator depending on what you want to spend. Anything beyond that like a new bolt (unless going lowpressure or you can just remove your venturi from the stock one), striker, vertical adapter and valve (unless going LP) is not going to do anything noticable for the price.

sell it and buy not a cocker, but a BKO or impulse. they can compete with higher guns and they aren't as expensive.

Dont do either. Keep it and upgrade your hopper and tank first, leave the rest stock, or maybe get a regulator and keep the original set up to sell later. That way you can buy another gun and not have wasted money upgrading your spyder.

BKOs and impulse aren't crappy stock... they could be better, but they are fine out of the box.
