I Am Planing To Buy A Palmer's Reg. But What Tipe Direct Or Female??

And Does It Work For Both Co2 And Nitro? 0?

Get the male palmers stabilizer.

It can be used with co2 and nitro, but only if you get anti-siphon installed on the co2. Otherwise the liquid co2 may ruin the reg.

The palmers stabilizer you need is called the male stabilizer. It screws in to the gun where most spyders come with an ex-chamber stock.

And just get one of the gauges that you can get with the stabilizer when you buy it. The gauges dont care what you put through them, they still work.

although it would help, you DON'T need an anti-siphon tube. the whole selling point of palmers is that their regs remove the problem of liquid co2. it won't do too much good to get an a/s tube installed, but, for the price, it couldn't hurt.

On the guide for my stabilizer it highly reccomended that you have it. THe cold liquid is not good for it, but you CAN run it without, it jsut wont last as long.

Coming from no experiance with regulators, i guess how does one work, where as how would the liquid would mess it up? Would it really? Or is it just how the q-tip box says not to use q-tips on the inside of your ear?

look, if its cold enough for the liquid co2 problem to occur u shouldn't be playing, ITS TO DAMN COLD!! Just get the male reg. screw it in where ur front grip was and reattach ur hose. And if u do screw the reg up, it comes w/ a life time waranty. Or so i'm told

Liquid co2 will be going through your gun even if it is pretty warm outside. That is why you have that cloud every time you shoot. The tank sits sideways so th liquid is sitting right by the valve until it is less than half full, so unless you have a/s you will have liquid co2 even when it is hot.

And as far as a liftime on the palmers, I dont think so. It says nothing that I found about it on there website, and I dont think it said anything on the paper that came with it about it either.

The cloud rarely has anything to do with liquid CO2, it's the moisture in the ambient air condensing because of the lowering temperature of the gas. Liquid CO2 will very rarely make it out of the gun since there's so much expansion area once it hits the barrel.

I wouldn't worry about an anti-syphon if your ASA is downangled. You won't be sucking any liquid since it stays at the bottom of the tank.

When it is full you might still have trouble with it siphoning unless it is completely vertical.

When it is properly filled, the liquid volume is somewhere between 60-80%, low enough to prevent it from being sucking into the gun when using a downangle bottom line.

I've had a Spyder E99 Avant for four years now, playing about 15 days a year on average recreationally. I've used CO2 the whole time as with all my markers, and it works fine in any weather. Sometimes when its below 40 degrees outside, it shoots out chunks of ice, but without affecting performance. I've never had to replace any internal o-rings. I think it's fine to use CO2 with the stock gun, just oil the marker before each day of use and clean after.
