its a spyder like every other spyder, same internals. same performance. Good gun to start with great gun if you like to upgrade and tinker with things.

If I were you I would get an electric gun off line. I got the xtra and told myself it would be fine. Out of the box it was but then I started modding and havent looked back. I recently put an electric trigger on it and the difference is unbelievable.

the xtra is a reliable gun, just as other spyders are. It's mechanical though, so just as they/\ said, just get an imagine, they are cheap and they perform well

A TL-X is an Xtra that looks different but performs the same and costs more.

all mech spyders are identical stock as far as preformance goes except for the rodeo only because it has a crappy reg on it, and the same for e-spyders except for the dx which has the same crappy reg. just buy the cheapest in either class.

i would go with the imagine, your gunna want an electric trigger frame later on, but if you r gunna get the xtra, get a barrel, teardrops, progressives, ceramics and cp 1 peice, then an electric hopper, the reloader and revvi are both nnice and then a reg

get the xtra, i have one its nice, u could get an electric gun if you want but keep in mind you then need to go buy an electric hopper which are very expensive. so even tho an electric is only like 30 bucks more u need to throw in the cost of an electric hopper because without one the gun will jam up and chop a lot and it will get to the point where u won't even want to use the full auto. get the xtra and upgrade the trigger and mayb if u want to get a new barrel. u don't need the new barrel bcuz the stock one is pretty nice but it will increase the shooting distance a lot.

Dont listen to anyone who says dont get an electric. Yes the Xtra is good but nothing special all spyders are the same. You can get a used electric spyder (Esprit, Imagine, E99 ....) for cheap and then pick up another hopper. Even if you dont have money a regular hopper will be fine as long as you dont use full auto. I have been playing for a month with an esprit trigger on my xtra and I havent chopped one ball.
I am ordering a hopper but it isnt nec. Just control your shot.

I'd go with the Imagine. Besides you don't NEED a loader unless you really are shooting 13 bps. Other than that, just don't shoot too fast in the meantime.

Dude trust me and the others GET A IMAGINE!!
You just dont understand yet, I was like that but now im dying for an imagine. Its harder to do cover fire or suppress fire with a mech spyder.
