ideal feedneck?
I've got my usual spider imagine with the stock plastic feedneck on it, and im looking for a good metal replacement for it. I would prefer a good lowrise type for it, however if it will interfere with the flow of balls, i wouldnt want that. So i dont really see people talk about what a good choice is for these things so i though i would ask. Tell me what you have and how it works for you.

i would go with the new designz clamping feedneck, the impulse one with adapter is a little expensive, and the clamping one looks nice

Me and fiki are in progress of trading for his egg.. But I only have a plastic elbow. but its like bent and I need a straight one, and i dont feel like having a sideways Hopper.
Basically i need a feedneck that will fit the egg and my spider without the screws. (If there is none like that than ill go with watever. but id rather not have them.)

How bout that? It says itd fit my viewloader snugly at the Check It Products website. Does it mean the regular vl200 hopper? Or all Viewloader hoppers.

if you want a check-it feedneck i would go with the clamping feedneck, because you will have to sand your egg to get it to fit in the non clamping one

I found a new designs spyder feedneck thing..
New Designz Spyder Clamping Low Rise Feed Neck - BLACK
Get a grip!!! Our new Spyder aluminum clamping feed necks are sure to be a an instant classic. Get rid of that weak plastic adapter which can break causing damage to your expensive hopper if it falls.
Only 26 grams, and less than 1.5 inches high installed
Fully adjustable top collar. Easily adjusts from Revy to Halo and everything in between within seconds
Using 4 spaced out O-rings, we provide lots of added support to the hopper. In addition this provides an awesome fit and eliminates any side to side wobble
Includes and is milled for 4 O-rings for more extra positive holding force
Superior anodized finish
For use on these markers:
32* Icon LED
Spyder Aggressor & Aggressor XT
Spyder AMG Classic
Spyder E99 Avant
Spyder Electra Deluxe & Basic
Spyder Esprit
Spyder Imagine - Not New Style
Spyder Victor & Victor II
NOTE: For use on the markers listed above. May fit other markers that have basically the same mounting profile.
I cant post the site because well it wont let me.. I thought it was said you needed something else for this one?

wow those smoke stacks look hella high profile.... i hunted out the new designz one... looks pretty cool, but basically like there are o-rings shoved in with the hopper... does that really keep it secure... i don't want my hopper poping out at any time.
i hear that the reason some of the feednecks are longer so theres a longer line of balls and less chance of balls not feeding right, is this true? If i get a low rise could i get a problem of balls not feeding fastenough?
ps... do i have to hunt down one of those stores in the purchase section of the new designz site? or is there any place to buy them on line? pm a site if you know where.

the smoke-stck is real nice, i have one, and the o-rings keep it very secure. Nothing will "pop out", but as others have said, does give you a little higher profile, but i could care less.
