Removing bolt
I've got a spyder electra i've used it about 5/6x and must have put 4000 rds though it. I've also chopped like 10x in it and i want to clean it! But i've never taken the ****ing bolt out. I have removed that back thing, and i can see the bolt but the STUPID screw wont let me take it out. I'm also trying to take off my sight rail for personal preferences and the screw is in the way also.
So how do i get the damn screw off, and what oil should i use for my bolt?

Regular PMI Gun Oil.. But are you sure it doesnt have a quick strip pin? check www.kingman.com and it has a video on how to do it . With the sightrail. It should be a simple Phillips head. But it looks kinda.. Empty.. WIthout the sighrail. But whatever floats your board.

No no, it has the pin, and i've pulled it. I'm talking about the cocking screw on the bolt. The thing that u use to pull the bolt back to cock it. I can't get that off, so the bolt won't come out. Thnx for that link though, i dind't know they had those vids. Those should help a lot

u should be able to pull it out, or just unscrew it. It does come off, but i'm not too familiar w/ top-cocking spyders.

Look at teh back of the bolt. THere might be a hex screw or a stright headed screw that holds the top cocking pin in. I know that was the case with my BL Millenium.

On one of my friends gun he just had to unscrew the pin. Just like on my old side cocking spyder.

It should just pull straight out. No unscrewing required.
The bolt has a spring-loaded ball that holds the cocking handle in place.
