yes, 25 grams is very light. If you are wondering about switches though i would go with the radioshack 50g, that way you can install it yourself.

The radio shack switches are lever switches. Their switch weight is measure with the advantage of the lever. They advertise a 5g lever switch, but without the lever it is actually close to 250g which is the stock switch. If you get the Radio Shack switch, you have to modify it to be lighter. Or you could just buy a lighter switch from Scenario Dreams.

Just beware that you may have bounce issues with a 25g switch. If you run, you have to hold down the trigger or your gun will fire with every step. IMO, 50g is as light as you want to go.

It comes down to what you want. If you want the a very light trigger pull then go for it. If you dont like it just buy another.

Also make sure that there is enough return force to allow the trigger to snap back to the starting position quickly. If you go too light it will end up reducing your max BPS.

25g (0.88 ounce) refers to the weight at which the trigger breaks, meaning that 25g's worth of force, applied perpendicular to the trigger, is all that is required to fire the marker. Many snipers (real military or para-military, not PB) and shooting enthusiasts actually have a weight tied to a hook with a string to calibration their triggers after serious use or after the weapon is serviced.

No one can decide if a 25g trigger will work for you. All we can do is to give suggestions, but ultimately, it is you who use the marker and will need to decide, based on what type of game your play, what your style is etc. Weight and control are all subjective, so while a 25g trigger may not be too light for some, it might very well be so for you.

While a light trigger might be convenient and seem cool, it can also be a hindrance. It WILL increase the chances of an accidental discharge, such as when you're running or diving for cover, resulting in unsafe conditions for you and those around you, causing you to give away your position and very possibly resulting in a DQ in a tournament.

I strongly suggest that you try out a few different types at your local field etc to figure out what's good for you. If you're new to PB and/or firearms, it's better to err on the side of caution and get a 50g trigger. Besides, it's not that big a deal to upgrade to a lighter trigger at a later date.

50g trigger gets my vote.
