Recocking troubles
I went paintballing today and had a great time. I did some sweet moves and really let some paint fly. Anyways my tank ran out in a game, which sucked, so I had to cock it then. No biggie I knew why it wouldn't cock back, no gas. But later after I had the tank filled i was still having some recocking probs. And it wasn't when i was going really fast either. I know that co2 losses pressure the faster u shoot, but i wasn't shooting fast and still had this prob. I looked at the bolt and my o-rings seem fine. So what's up w/ this

Well. U can drill out the VA and polish the internals. Polishing the internals would probably be the best way to prevent that from happening. What u could do is simple. Go to otter he will show u the ways of the spyder Gods. Lol. It always helps to do those mods.

could it also be having a spring that's too strong?? so that the blowback is retarded (as in slowed down).

That would be the obious thing. But if it was working fine earlier then most likely what happened is that he was shooting a high ROF and got a few scratches. Happened to my electra to.

i'm gonna go with the theory of scratches being on your bolt. even if you polish it, however, it will still become scratched, it just takes longer. the only way to avoid this is to buy a bolt made of delrin or nytralon.
