Im making a cocker spyder hybrid (like otters

). He dosnt post any instructions on how to do it but rather just gives pics and explains what he was doing in that pic. But he leaves alot of stuff out in between. Anyway genious struck me so hard and fast that I couldnt resist doing this myself. Im not very close to being finished but rather in the middle. Let me tell u right now if u dont like power tools and are scared of being cut alot dont do this. Plus it is hard as hell to perfect and im only in the begining stages. Also if u suck at geometry dont do this. Angles and what not. Anyway i will post up all the stuff I did in order to aid u if u ever do this. *sigh* The things I do for you people.

Nice page. I can't imagine much of a gain by doing the mod except for a less kick when firing. It would be pretty fun though. I think I would rather convert it into a pump gun... I would need to get a new valve pin without the notch to get rid of the blowback effect but it probably wouldn't be very difficult to do.

I had a spare cocker lying around. So im not to sure. but I did buy 20$ worth of macro line and fittings. Not to mention I broke (so far) 5 dremel grinder bits. They shattered it was like a freakin gernade. I acctually got tagged. Its basically a jagged edge goin 90mph . Cut me pretty good. Im very afraid to cut any metal like this.

EvanDude did one before too. His was the "SpyderCocker X". You know you could wait for the R.A.I.L. kit but you'd have the bragging rights if you made your own. I wish you good luck btw.

Ok well here is my progress on the front block. It is hell to cut and is as thick as my head because im stupid to do this. I took a pic of this on the wall to show my progress and to show that shard thats clinging onto my wall. The sob flew out and got stuck on the wall.

Have you thought about using a hacksaw instead???

How large and thick is the peice your cutting? You may need a different tool. Also your wall looks cool now.

Ahh gil beat me to it. Yea a hacksaw, band saw or even a small reciprocating saw would work alot better if you have one laying around.
