Well my Spyder Imagine is very loud and I haven't gotten the chance 2 do some upgrades yet. So i'm gunna name some upgrades I think I should get and can some ppl tell me if it's a good or a bad upgrade.....?
1. Remote
2. 12" JnJ Ceramic
3. Compressed Air
I'm getting the remote sometime this week and i'm wondering if I get a new barrel would it quiet down the gun? Also wats the advantages/disadvantages of having a remote? 0? 0? 0?

I wouldnt get a remote, it just gets in the way, and the only advantage is that it makes your gun lighter but your gun should be fine since its a spyder, everything else sounds good

Well i'm not complaining tht 5 lbs is heavy its just that for woodsball it's kinda in the way when i'm hiding and running and stuff. I also keep hitting it on trees, rocks, ground, etc etc.
Also is a 14" barrel more accurate that a 12"? If so does the 14" get in the way sometimes? 0?

Well if your playing in a real wooded are the cord can get caught on stuff and just get in the way of your arms sometimes

the difference between 12 and 14 is negligible, unless you're playing mid or back airball i'd say get a 12
to make the gun quieter you want to lower the pressure your gun operates at, do a google search...

Yeah...I was thinking of that.....but I could put the cord on the inside of my shirt....might look funny. Hmmmm. Or I could watch out where my back goes against.

After getting a 12" Progressive for my Imagine, the marker was much quieter than with the stock barrel. After that I think just lowering the operating pressure will make it quieter (?)
As far as the remote goes, if you think you'll like it, go for it.

i dont think a remote is such a good idea, and the difference in accuracy between a 12 and 14" barrel is almost un-noticable. but for woods, stick with the 12" i have a 14" and it sometimes gets in the waywhen i'm not paying attention to where i'm going. yes, the j&j is a good barrel, but i have the smart parts progressive, and love it, pick which one you want. as for hpa, a crossfire 68/4500 wouuld be perfect, not too big, not too small. but you will need a tank cover with it to protect it from scratches, and dings.

Ok, thx! Well should I go for a barrel with more porting? I also think i'll choose a 12". Does it lose any range with a longer barrel?

any more then 14" and you lose range and accuracy. because of friction in the barrel.

The thing a remote does is makes it so you dont dont have to carry your tank(obvisouly). And it also helps the co2 expand better. So it comes down to preference.

The remote is preference. The only advantage I see to having a longer barrel is poking your barrel through thick brush. I'd personally go with a 14" since I play a lot of recball. Compressed air would also be a great upgrade especially since you want to quiet your marker. Just be to lower your psi a bit and you should have a much quieter marker. I think a nylatron/delrin bolt would also help.

Get a progressive. Great barrel and alot of people have trouble with J&J barrels.

Then I might go with that.....it depends on the price at the store i'm going 2 tomorrow or Thursday. Wat type of bolt should I get? I really would like 2 change that. I need something cheap that does not have a venturi. (Yes I know there's a modification for it but I don't wana do it, bad experence)

Well personally the one I want to get for my markers is the one made by Spudnuk'l but I have heard of other ones out there that are just as good but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

A new bolt would quiet it down more then a barrel!
