OTB Blind Bolt

I've seen this bolt on several sites, but all of the ones are out of stock. Is this because it hasn't been released yet? I want one for my spyder, as I'm making it into a great backup instead of selling it.

Another question about it, what's it made out of besides rubber. It doesn't look like delrin to me, which i really want.

If it isn't out yet, and any of you have one lying around for an electra because you or your proshop got to test it, I'd be very interested in buying it off of you.

Whats the deal. I saw a pic where the bolt was like bent around the ball? New anti-chop revolution, or me looking like an idiot? Ill let you decide.

ah, that's what i figured, i thought it might have been released, though, as some sites already have a spot for it.

Not yet. My guess is that its a light rubber on the end. And the rear woud be a delrin or aluminum construct. The rubber however is very very smooth and somewhat slippery. Like delrin.

Judging from the versions of the bolt for other guns, it is made out of plastic and rubber. The body of the bolt is plastic and the tip is rubber that's glued to it. I've heard mixed reviews of it for other guns. One guy used it on his non-vision imp with a vl200 and didn't chop once. Others say it didn't work well. I think it's also supposed to help with blowback because the tip is a bit larger than the rest and seals the breech really well. If you don't feel like waiting for it, just get a JAM bolt.

Jam bolts are really just as good in prevention I bet. Nearly the same concept. No matter what u still will chop.

jambolts.com
(i dont belive they are in competion with xpaintball, so i can post this safely)
i have the jam bolt...works good...works better when u soften the spring up, make it really light, so it will recoil with the slightest touch. I have also seen blind bolts work on imps...pretty much the same, cept that the jam bolt is a bit more frictionless (no rubber) and cost a bit more.
