E-99 Problems

Dunno what's causing the problem. Whenever I start firing consistantly with CO2, I notice my gun starts to get cold. Now I know that's common cause of the CO2, but what's not common is that once it gets cold like that, my solenoid starts misfiring every other shot or so. What it will do is fire once normally, then the next time it will just barely push the sear. It won't hit it far enough for the sear to trip the striker.

It's not a battery problem because my battery is fully charged. Not an o-ring problem because all of my o-rings are good and lubed. There's only 3 things I can think of that might be the problem. The capacitor might not be charging up quick enough or I may have a faulty solenoid, or lastly it may just be that I would need to go to HPA and ditch CO2.

I will most likely end up going down to the Kingman facility near me (luckily I live about 20 minutes from their Baldwin Park facility) and see what they say. Would be helpful to hear suggestions from here first so I have an idea of what the problem might be.

Are you using aftermarket grips? Some of them rub on part of the solenoid reducing the kicking power. I know with my E-Spyder stickies if I squeeze the upper grip tighter then usual it won't fire. If you're not using the stock grips try taking them off and see if it changes your problem. Good luck.

I do have Dye Sticky 3's, but once the solenoid starts misfiring, it doesn't matter if I'm holding the grips or not. I had taken them off to see what was happening to the solenoid and it had still did it.

Try removing each of the electrical connectors on the board and reinstalling them. Perhaps one has shaken loose? I absolutely hate troubleshooting intermittent problems. I've been working on a faulty fan control circuit in my wifes car for what seems like weeks.

When i first got my gun it was doing something similar to that, and my board would turn on and off. So i sent it to kingman and they replaced it and sent it back in like 5 days
