If your going to do that use electrical tape on the inside of the grip. It would work better since that color is more "black" and wont fade.

Why don't you just buy black grips? DYE makes them for electronic Spyders.

I have posted a way you can do this without having to sand and costs only $6-$12

Check it out:
http://www.paintballforum.com/forum...ead.php?t=86475

If you do it this way you can't mess it up.

well sure you can do all of those options... i opted out to get those sticky 3's on my esp 3.0... and lemme tell ya they're GREAT... makes the feel of the grip much more ergonomic. they're a good 20 bucks spent.
