check all the o-rings on your bolt, ect. Also, you might have busted your cup seal.

Hey, you might have remembered getting a small bag of little parts w/ your gun. Look for this little white thing, its like a soup can kinda thing. What it does is open and close the valve so air can go through, or in this case not go through. This little peice is right under the barrel. To replace it, take off that front block type thing. There is a long pin, a spring and a old cup seal. Its held in by red lock tite. Twist it hard.(After you take off the spring and that little star)

Then just twist in the new one, you can put in lok tite, i just use blue, its strongm, but not peradent.

That should do it, after that, put about 3 drops od PAINTBALL oil in the air soures adaptor(ASA), and dry fire about 20 times. This will wetten up the o rings, and help you get a better seal.

well, I hope I helped you, an more questions, just PM me or ask here.

OK OK OK , is there any more possiabilities or reasons that air could be leakin from inside the barrel besides non lubricated o rings, and the cup seal?
-The o-rings are lubricated, i think it is the cup seal, i havent checked yet but im going to as soon as i can get to it, but im just seein if there are any other possabilities, thanks dudes.....

It leaks air when the air source is hooked up to it. Not when i have it on charge or whatever u said lol. only when i hook air up to air .When i cock it , the air leak slows a little bit...what do u think is the problem? and could it be something other than the cup seal? The orings on the bolt are fine ,i know thats not the problem....???

I would say that the most likely problem is your cup seal valve.. replace it and see if that fixes your leak. Check out otterssccustoms.com for articles on how to do it..

Ok yeah i exchanged a whole valve stem assembly with one which i know is good and put it in my spyder, well air still leaks, even with a good cupseal. im thinkin the thing the cup seals against might have something wrong with it? i have no clue, this is like the only problem ive ever had with a spyder and most of the time i can get it to stop leakin but this problem just hard to fix i guess. I went to that website and got lost,..lol...maybe u can give me a link? yeah ok thanks, and yeah i know forsure it isnt the cup seal , but maybe it what it is spose to be sealing against.....i just dont know what it is now, im thinkin that the bottom bolt/striker is too close and barely pushin the valve stem in just enough for air to leak and if thats the case then i dont know what to do about that, dudes just tell me what yall think.....

hmm.. if you replaced the cup seal and still have problems, I would reccomend bringing it in to your proshop and have them take a look at it.

what I would do is take a very fine sand paper and sand where the cup seal makes contact with the valve, you also might need to use some polish as well.

you see where the valve cup seal/pin and the valve is? Sand (with somthing like 800 grit) the valve where the cup seal meats it.

Air leaks can come from u not oiling ur o-rings. Try that first. If the O-rings go unoiled, they will not create a sufficient seal
