Pilot Q's and or comments please!

Alright I am to the point of hitting the buy button on this view cart page. But I was eyeing the Spyder Fenix, but i looked at it for awhile, and came to the conclusion its just a Spyder Imagine on roids.

I have enough to buy one or the other so it doesnt really matter, but I want to make sure I am buying the right one. I was thinking about getting an imagine but i would rather just get a pilot instead.

So can someone that owns a pilot give me some ups and downs. Oh yeah, how hard is it to upgrade a fenix vs. pilot in that respects.

Thank you.

i don't own one but i have to tell you, they will preform much the same. they are equally easy to upgrade though. i think the pilot has a reg, but it sux if it does, as do all stock kingman regs and x-chambers. i'd spend less money, but it's your choice.

if looks are any matter to you then go with the pilot cuz nothing that you can buy for the fenix really matches the midnight blue matte and the silver matte finishes. It will save you a couple of bucks too

less money

So I should just get a Pilot and not even get the Fenix is what your saying. I am fixed on the Pilot for now. Though now the more and more i look into this, a Spyder Imagine would be enough, but my last thread about this awhile back. They said that the trigger for the Pilot is really nice? So what would you get and the regulator thing. Do i need it or can i live with out its unaccurate measuring.

Thanks!

The trigger is really nice? I think it's the same trigger as an imagine. Maybe their talking about the trigger frame, because it let's you program from semi, 3-round burst, 6-round burst, and auto. And for all the settings except semi, you can set how fast the burst or auto will be 6bps-13bps. Also the pilot trigger frame has that double finger gaurd which I don't like.

i would get a barrel and bolt before you start to look into regulators unless you are buying it all at once

Ok, i have my 98 sold moreless right now, so i have about 50 bucks to blow on an upgrade. I have read that spyder bolts hurt it or some thing of that sort. So i have been looking around and i am so lost... I have no idea where to even start to upgrade this gun. Can someone help me with the purchase of a godly item before i blow it on a fancy O-ring or something.
