Exclamation Regulator/Bolt Questions

Hello I own a spyder Xtra with an E-trigger, J&J Ceramic Barrel, and a new dropforward that I made. I am looking into purchasing a regulator and possibly a bolt. Would my gun benefit from a regulator and if so what kind and will it work with the drop forward and line setup I have now. Also what are the advantages of replacing the bolt and again what kind do you recommend? I have a link with a picture of my gun so you can see the drop forward setup. (Yes I know the electrical tape looks sort of dumb on it but I did it so it didn't get scratched on the move to college.)

If you have CO2, get a Palmers Stabalizer for you r gun. It'll make you more consistant, and it runs great on both CO2 and Nitro. If you have CO2, make an attempt to get it anti-siphoned before you run it through the reg, though. Basically a regulator will make your gun more consistant, meaning you can run closer to the fields limits, and be more accurate, since consistancy plays a huge role in accuracy.

On the bolt, I don't know for Spyders, sorry.

Is that something that will work with my current drop forward and line setup though?

no actually, it won't work. spyder bottom lines are metric threaded, while all others are standard. buy a spyder/standard macro line kit and it will work. it will come with one metric elbow and one metric elbow (i believe the metric one is straight). pm me if you can't find a site with one (can't post sites besides xpaintball.com here, and they don't have one).

False. The hose has metric threads and the gas-thru has metric threads, but the bottomline ASA uses standard 1/8" npt threads.

A male regulator will thread right in to your VA. Then, both ends will be paintball standard 1/8"npt.
