Do imagines have ball breaks alot?

I just bought a Spyder Imagine....I have a spyder compact, which I used for a while. I hated my compact, I had ball breaks like I had to pee. Does a imagine have ball breaks? I know every gun will have ball breaks, but spyders seem to have more than others...anyone got anything on this?

I also use the Walmart special Blue Streak paintballs, those things hurt!!

yes spyder imagines have ball breaks like any other gun it just depends os paint to barrel match, what paint, how old,and which barrel, i would suggest a jaj ceramic barrel or smart parts tear drop 12-14 inches, and blue streak paint is crap like most other walmart kmart paint.

all guns breal balls, its just a matter of the wuality of the paint and teh speed of the hopper, go with an electric hopper and you will have hardly any breaks, and get better paint, becuz blue streak really sucks

Actually many times bluestreaks will break less in ur gun because they have thicker shells. The good paint has thiner shells so they wont bounce off people, but when spyders shoot them, breaks happen.

Main way to cure your breaking is 1, get a electro hopper, 2 get a regulator to lower your pressure. That is why spyders break balls, the bolt has so much pressure behind it that it busts the ball. Trust me, i used to have a imagine, a pimped out one at that

All spyders have breaks, because of the ^^^ reasons,no matter what marker you have you are going to chop once in a while, but you can just get different bolts, though they will not eliminate ball breaks, they will certainly cut down on how often they happen.

I once used Diablo paint in my compact, didnt have one ball break. I was also using the stock barrel. The imagine I got has an aftermarket 12 inch barrel, I havent found out what it is yet. My friends dad has an imagine, he likes it, but has quite a bit of ball breaks, because he dosent have a electro hopper. My friend told me he cant even shoot fast on semi, without a ball break...

So I am gonna hafta get a electro hopper?

Anyone have one for real cheap?

Ohh...I ran blue streak in my friends tippmann, didnt have one ball break, and I ran it in my compact, which I call "the blender", and had a few ball breaks, I think 2 out of 500 rounds? Not sure, but blue streak seems to work for me, so I am not complaining....but the only problem I have with blue streak, they kept bouncing off everyone! But when they hit, they would hurt....anyways, thanks guys...

ive used an imagine for a whole day without breaking a ball(thats stock bolt). 0/1700 balls. If you want a good hopper i would suggest a revvy or richochet ak. both around $45 if u look at the right sites

SPyder= High pressure operation. thats the reason for many ball breaks. Then the issue of not feeding fast enough is another big reason. Paint to barrel match not so much but a little factor. Just get an agitated hopper and unless your going to turn it into low pressure operation thats all you can do.
