Hey PBFers!
I justy wanted to first say hi. My buddy Roobvandam is ALWAYS on and he gets some awesome stuff from you guys. (BTW, his IE shortcut DOES say intraweb.net). Anyway, Roob's other buddy is sellin me:

Spyder Imagine 04
$60 hopper (Can't remember name)
Mask
CO2 Tank

For $130, and regardless of how good or bad the deal is, I'm taking it.

Anyway, for a person EXTREMELY new to Pballing, what are things I should know for the Spyder? Is it a relatively good gun for beginners?

Hmm...the 1st thing you should do is read the manual and take apart your Spyder. Practice how it works and how to put it back on a few times. Then air it up and start walkin the trigger

lol i agree with krazay you can find a better deal, but spyders are very good beginners gun.. practicing walking the trigger, is good on helping you shoot faster, just make sure you dont shoot to fast or you'll start chopping balls

lol, also upgrades are always good for a gun.. i suggest getting a new barrel and maybe a new bolt.. other then that, after some practice at the field, you should start saving up for a better gun

130 is a pretty good package deal, especially since your getting a much needed electric hopper, its probobly a richochet or maybe even and egg, but anyway, good luck and welcome to teh forums

lol an imagine 04 is like 120 at the cheapest sites alone.. so for like 10 bucks he getting an electronic hopper, 60 dollar hopper, and a co2 tank.

okay idk what you guys are talkin bout...hes giving him a ricochet 2k, 20oz CO2, jt mask, Spyder Imagine 04, and 500 paintballs for 130...wich is what just the gun cost him...

Ya its a pretty good gun. I dont know about the 04s but Imagines seem to break down alot. just take good care of it and you'll be fine

Yes, and i will be helping him with matenince, practice ect. so i can help him and i'll take care of it well, and teach him how to.

This gun has been taken care of (by me a few times) and has been clean and lubed after every day.

hehe i was bored. For awile i had it as 'timmy' for the fairly odd parents episode. but then i changed to intraweb.net...

Use that first 500 to get to know the gun + brake it in.

Take it out back and start Expirementing on how to Aim, Aim while moving, Walking, And things like that.
