Radio shack 5g switch vs. 25g switch...

Well, my thoughts are confirmed... i didn't think that the 5g switch that they were selling at radioshack was any more sensitive thatn the swtich i already had, and if so, not much.... i finally got the 25g switch i ordered in the mail today (2.69, + 2.50 for shipping) and soldered it in... BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG DIFFERENCE... my esp + sweetspot is so much more sensitive with that 25g... how come radio shack labels it "switch pressure: 5g" if it's just as sensitive as the 150-200g switches that come with the trigger?

The pressure needed to take with the lever is 50. But if you remove the lever then its 250. Simple leverage physics. But you kinda need to remove the lever in order to properly install it so it kinda dosnt work well. Lol. There is a modification you have to do to it in order to make it acctually 50G. I forgot how though. Not hard but otter has it on his site.

Yah, the ones at radio shack need the lever to stay light, otherwise they are almost the same as stock. I did the modification to my switch that fiki talked about, and it did help a lot.

Sodering isn't very hoq. Just make sure you practice soldering first on an old motherboard or whatever. You will need a solder gun, solder, and a solder remover. (either a desolder braid or vacuum, the latter though more expensive works much better)

So is do the new Imagines have the 5 gram or are they the old ones? I bought mine a year or two ago and can't imagine using a lighter trigger pull without slowing down the return.
