First Back Hack Job - Pics

Well I got bored so decided to refine the backend of my friends 04 Xtra. I have alot of experience with somewhat minor metal working and fabrication. I also have much experience with spyder markers. This is the first time I've done this mod, let me know what you think. If I spent more time I could clean it up a little better but I think it turned out well.

I love how it flows with the lines of the body. I like the new style bodies much better. The Xtra body is almost identical to the TL-X body except for the top cocking vs rear cocking setups.

i think that there is to much of a chance of crap getting in there, i also wouldnt want that much of bolt exposed. unless there was a way to make the bolt only come back to the part of it that is curved up. other than that is pretty cool. have u thought of like opening up a little business of custom marker jobs? if i were you i would.

Iv seen it done before but not quite as smooth and natural looking.

Funny thing is I was Xing out the window for the spyder forum and I thought I saw the "hand job thread" and I was like WTF!!!!!! and I went back and it was the Hack Job so I was like O.

Hehe thanks for the input everyone. Yes like I said the back edges of the gun could use some more refinement, still a bit sloppy, but it's good enough for now.

Wow...just plain wow, that is a pretty cool thing. I would hafta agree about the part with crap getting in there (I play speedball in a field with very tall grass, thats why I think that), but if you made a guard or something to go over that, and made it look like an imagine top cocking setup, that would be pretty cool. Anyways, looks awesome and smooth...

Like metal with the really small holes. If you could attach that to it there as a guard i think it would look sick.

Its really cool though nice job.
