i spend less time taking care of my cocker then i would a blowback and i think timing is less of a problem then leaks(which BKOs have in spades). Timing is cheap at most stores(free if you buy it there), there are numerous guides on the internet, and it only has to be done when the gun is brand new or has just been upgraded.
also, a fenix/imagine/other e-spyder(other then espirit) is a rip since for $30 or so more(or sometimes less) you can get a TES which is superior in most ways.

ok first by begineer what you mean? If you have never played go with a mech sypder, they are cheap, and i have seen a guy playin wicked airball with a victor. Also you will learn what you can do, not what your gun can do for you. If you get a tes, bko, not a esypder, u are goin start too high in the field. You don't be a rich snob and buy a angel and not no how to turn it one, seen it, w/ halo and a hella nice tank, lol. Not saying your a snob but you need to learn to play and you get more respect when you go higher and move with your gun. You migth find the victor is too slow and all but you put maybe 100 into the whole thing and you can sell it our keep it. Then move up to a dragun, bko, impy, cocker etc.

niether. Don't start on a e gun unless its a imagine cause thats a simple gun. I would get a victor or xtra play till you can't play with that then move up. You won't waste more than 50 and that is about the price of a case of paint so like is it worth it to start with that much of a gun, no. Ask anyone, you can't start that high

thats what I thought when I first started playing. my first gun was a spyder xtra it worked ok at first. 1 month later I was out buying a electric gun. I went with the nexion with a t-board. Now I am saving up for a timmy or matrix or dm4/5 maybe if they don't have any problems. I have only been playing for about 6 months.

If your going to be out playing a lot I would start off with an electronic gun. if your just going to play for a while and then drop the sport then go cheap. I wouldn't get the nexion b/c its over priced. I would see how much you can get the fenix for then add the acs bolt rather then buying the fenix acs gun. just b/c it might or might not be cheaper. to save money i would try to get stuff used? people are always upgrading in this sport.

lalala first that was a terrible double post, 2 in less than a minure, notty notty. Anyway i disagree, You'll never learn to play with a electric gun. It is too fast to learn. You might think your good cause your tagging peps but what you don't realized is it takes a whole hopper. If you learn on a mech you will learn to shoot right, hit your mark, and you will be able to control the gun better. I woudl almost get a pump to learn on, but thats me. Do what you want im tellign you your best option.

i would consider trying to find a Spyder AMG LCD. i bought this gun to play in tourneys and it works like a charm. u need to put at least 500 balls through it to get the velocity turned down. i run mine at 600psi on a 16oz tank. i played an entire tourny on this tank(it has a bad valve assembly). i didnt once chop a ball or have one break in the barrel. the gun is super nice stock. the 2-in-1 Classic Trio barrel is as accurate or more accurate than my 16" CP Classic barrel. hope this helps.

the raven markers(im my mind) are way over priced. you could a spyder fenix acs or spyder pilot acs for way cheaper. have you ever heard of the Spyder AMG LCD? if you could try and find one of these markers, buy it. the gun is great stock. the barrel is very accurate. its light, comfortable, IS NOT a gas hog. i just bought one and was running 600psi in a local tournament. it lasted 1500 shots and the tank had a bad valve assembly. you can find them new for, i think usually, under 250. if you buy this marker, get a power hopper. a standard gravity feed hopper will work but you will chop balls. also, if u do buy ur prolly going to need to run bag of paint through it to get the velocity down. also, something else that would help this, is when you take apart the striker assembly, the velocity adjuster has a metal washer like thing in it, take that out by taping it on a table or something. hope this helps.

my local pro shop bought amg classics for their all girls team and then bought them for their mens team. that was one thing they took out to help lower the velocity and it works. thats why take out that metal washer thing. its way hard to turn down the AMG's when there brand new. i took me like close to an hour to get it turned down. hope this helps.
