Spyder Sprint (Electronic Trigger Frame) Help

Hey guys, well i just pulled out my gun to clean it and take care of it before I play this weekend....only to find the 9.6V rechargable Java battery that the handle ships with is dead and I left my charger at home. I popped a standard 9.0V battery in there and the pin seems to fire, will this be a good solutino until i can order the charger for the Java Battery? or is it fine to run the gun like this?

Thanks for yalls help in advance.

The 9 should work fine. I've seen it done before without any problems. No clue why its a 9.6 stock.

i think your sposed to use a 9.6 volt battery, because a 9 volt will supposedly mess up the board, which i dont believe becuase i recently put a 9 volt in and there are no problems.

i thought the 9.6 was just to give it some more juice..i never heard of it ruining the board..i think its just to make the electronics more "steady" or more powerfull...so they arnt weak..but i could be wrong

I have seen people use them in a pinch without probs. One day we were shooting and I was talking to the stores airsmith and he said that would work fine and that you just did not want to use it for a permanent solution.
