Spyder Vs. Hard Bunkers & Dirt.

For all of you who play a more aggressive "front" style of play with your spyders, how well do they hold up to things like hitting into hard bunkers, or catching dirt and sand during mis-judged bunker slides? In particular the electric varieties. Also, who has had problems with e-triggers (spyder factory e-triggers) in the rain?

ehh id be careful with the feed neck, make sure you dont hit it to hard on the ground snapping it right off your gun, dirt shouldnt be much of a problem, and if its sprinkiling then that shouldnt do no harm to your gun, but if its raining really hard, i wouldnt take the chance. .

Yea, i wouldnt worry about it...just make sure u clean ur gun out well. It shouldnt get in ur grip, but if it does just take off the cover and use a q-tip to lightly clean it off. I have never had any problems with anyting getting in my imagine. I even played in the snow.

this isn't 'Nam buddy. just take it easy, treat your marker well, and it'll treat you well in return.

Don't most people play like it is the nam?Just stay out of the rain and clean and lube your marker after each use and you will be fine!

I live on the coast in oregon.. if you have any idea what the weather usaly is then you would say rain. I have a imagine and had no problems at all with it(yes that dose include the electronic trigger) except for the sear. I have no other electronic triggers to compare it to, but the one in my gun (before I fixed it on a mill) was rounded where it meets the stricker(and no it's not from wear or a defect) so I just trimed it to be flat like in the meck triggers. but that's my only complante.
