no, oil your cupseal, or replace it, there should be a spare one in your parts kit when you bought the gun.

the cup seal would cause a leak down the barrel..he says it is leaking out through where his bolt is...then it is the o-rings that are the problem..but if that doesnt work..then try the cupseal.

make sure your striker o-ring is lubed as well.

To oil the orings on the valve you have to pull it out and chances are it will leak worse.Besides if it is leaking past the valve orings or the cup seal it is the same place and same noise etc. Change your cup seal first and see if that will work. You do not have to pull the valve to change the cup seal.If that does not work then change the orings on the vale.Use some like a battle swab to pull the valve out.You also will have to take the brass screw out of the bottom of the body, that is after removing the frame from the body.I know when I changed to a high perfomance valve I had to replace the orings twice it is very hard and not as easy as they make it look on the knigman video. You will want to oil the orings up to help them slide and be careful of the hole where the brass setscrew goes. That is where I kept tearing the orings.Try the cupseal first.

i meant lube, with battle lube or dow 33/55, then there will be a lot less chance of it leaking..on my imagine, I used oil al lthe time on the valve o-ring and it dryed up or something really quick, and id have to redo it...but then i used battle lube and the o-ring created a perfect seal and i never had any problems.

It sunds like your cup seal as many folks have said. Most commonly a "leak" heard around the bolt or down the barrel is coming from the cup seal. One thing that you can do to minimize this is to cock the marker prior to gassing up the marker. This will seat the cupseal against the valve body firmly.

I am not a big fan of removing and oiling valve o-rings. They tend to be rather fragile and damage easily. Just put a few drops of oil in your ASA and dry fire a few times with your barrel off and you should be good to go.

im 99% sure its teh cupseal, as said above, all you have to do is change it, eveb if u see no knicks of scrtvhes in it, there is most likely and imperfection.

Like screwedupmonkey saids...it's most likely the cup seal. It's almost impossible to see the defect of an cupseal. It has to be the most delicate item in a pb marker.
