Help on bolts

What does an aftermarket bolt do for your paintball marker. I have a Spyder Imagine, and want to know what the best bolt for it would be. Also, what can I do to my gun to make it shoot faster?

Thanks in advance for all of the help!

I dont think a new bolt is going to make your imagine shoot any faster, but you really need to get a ACS bolt from kingman since you have an electro marker. The ACS(Anti Chop System....correct me if im wrong) bolt keeps your gun from chopping and that will really help you during a game. The new bolt wont scar up the inside of the gun like the stock bolt will either.

yeah thats true, i got HPA the Dye throttle air system, and an electric hopper and out of about 2000 paintballs baisaclly on automatic since my gun goes up to 14bps i onyl have one break, but if i had the shake and bake hoppers with co2, damn, i would have to clean everything like i did before! so def. get the new ACS bolt, thats what i am doing for sure!

oh yeah and if i were you, def go with the electric hopper, that will be prob the next best investment besides the HPA tank, and other then that, get the new ACS bolt, get the HPA tank (i llike my dye, its really really super nice) then the Electro hopper

the empire soundactive reloader is nice, i like it a lot!

If you want to shoot faster get a new trigger and a 50g switch. For the triggers I recommend the acp thrasher. To make the gun shoot faster you can get a t-boad with eyes. The board is capped at 36 bps. With a new trigger and a fast hopper you can probably exceed 13 bps if you can shoot that fast.

For the bolt,a good choice is to remove the venturi from the bolt and polish the internals.Or,a superfly,or an acs bolt which will help reduce most of the chops, but if you have the t-board and eyes you probably wont need the acs.An aftermarket bolt will reduce the pressure your gun runs at.

Don't bother upgrading the bolt.

You will see no significant advantage with an aftermarket bolt. You may see a slight increase in effeciency, but that is all.

The only things you can do to shoot faster are:

1) Get a faster trigger finger
2) Get a better gun

Rather than buying little parts for your spyder, save up and get a nice electro, like an impulse, or BKO.

For the time being, get a new barrel and a electric hopper. You really dont need to shoot as fast as the other guys out there, so dont bother trying to shoot faster.

If you noticed, its probably hard to shoot people with the stock barrel, a Smart Parts teardrop is a nice barrel and is fairly cheap($40), and you mgiht want a new hopper. a Viewloader Revolution is a nice hopper and fits into your price range. Although since we cant post links cath me on aim and ill link you to it.

or spend a couple more bucks and get a Viewloader Evolution II [egg], it feeds much faster than a Revolution with a zboard. which means your garunteed to not chop even without the t board, or ACS

Well read some of the stickies it will help clear some things up.Some of it is just a learning curve though.A ACS will not help with a gravity hopper.
