Bolt Problems

Ihave a spyder e-99

and i bought a new bolt

the ice pick

now it needs the bolt pin for my old bolt how do i do this with out killing it

NEED HELP

pull and twist on the knob..the pin should come right out. Dont be afraid to put a little muscle into it.

Well guys you forgot to tell him that there is a small allen set screw on the side of the bolt loosen it and the pin will just drop out practically.Be carefull you may need to put a lighter or torch to it because they use some very strong threadlock.

Yeah I just tried it on one of stock bolts you have to put a torch to it for several seconds because it has the locite from hell holding it.Use a 2.0 all wrench if you use 5/64 it will strip out.After the set screw is backed out just push on the pin with something and it will just drop right out.The pin has a notch so if you do not get the set screw out the pin will not come out even with vsegrips the only thing that will happen is that you will mangle the pin.
