Hello, I am new to the game, I recently purchases a spyder imagine 04 model. I have messed with it a few times, and read the manual and it doesnt tell ya what the thumb adjuster is for or how to adjust it? Could someone give me some info on it, what it does, what should it be set for?

It sets the tension on the main spring, turn it clockwise and the tension increases, counter clockwise and it decreases. With the increased tension the velocity will be higher. Their is no way to say where it has to be set you just have to adjust it and see what gives you the best velocity without repeated curving or ball breaks. It would also be best to get it chronographed under 300 fps.

kirksboy pretty much summed it up. Try for about 280 some fields are strict while others are lax.
