How to uncock a Spyder Avant?
Sorry for this completly novice question here but I am very knew to painball guns. I have a Syder agressor and without CO2 when I cock my gun and pull the trigger it uncocks.(obviously) Now, I just bought my Dad a Spyder E-99 Avant for christmas ( using his credit card of course haha), it just came in the mail and I had to take it out and mess with it first before I wrap it. Anyway I cocked it and Ive beed pulling the trigger and it doesnt uncock at all. Ive taken the safety off, I even put in the battery in for the trigger and it still wont uncock. Is it suppose to stay cocked? Some please help me and tell me im retarded.

Don't worry about it...just gas it up with c02/hpa and cock it and it should be fine.

You do not even need to gas it up .The problem is the battery is dead. You can charge the battery about 6 hours or just get a 9 volt put it in the handle turn it on pull the trigger. That will uncock it ,than take the battery out and put the grip on.

Like I said the sear won't trip if the battery is super low or dead.It will not hurt to use a 9 volt to fire the gun without gassing it up.

you can use a 9 volt or the battery u got with it, but like shark said man, it wont fire off a dead battery, just put one in quick and fire it or charge ur battery.... easy like dat...

Ya the battery is dead and thats the problem, im charging it now but its gonna take like 12 hours. The manuel says using another battery could mess up the circuit board, you guys think I could still use a different one if only to fire one shot to uncock it?

Charge the bat.. If you want to uncock it.. well in piranhas there is a sear release button. You can pull out the field strip and take out the bolt and hammer (be careful the hammer might fly back).
Once you get that out, jsut try to put it back in.. If it won't go back in, take off the trigger frame using allen wrenches, slide the bolt back into place and put the field strip pin back in.. Then put teh trigger frame back in

I suggest getting him a 9.6v rechargable battery also. regular 9v rechargables seems to get drained really fast.

Hell, I recharged a regular 9 volt for 12 hours, and it was fine when I went playing with it...
