ACS bolt, whats your look on it?

Okay, I was in my my moms office, waiting for her to leave, cuz I needed to pick up my truck, and I was just sitting there, not doing anything at her conference table, and I looked over, and theres a receipt to paintball gateway. I am guessing what was on that reciept is my presents for Christmas...now I dont normally snoop or anything, but the freakin receipt was right there, so I just glanced at it....so I am now getting a ACS bolt and a Empire Reloader for Christmas....
My question is, what is everyones outlook on the ACS bolt? I have heard good things and bad things, mostly bad things....is it an Anti-Chop system, or does it chop? Some people here say it chops, and some say it does, but once every 6 games or so....Discuss this matter...and.....go!!

I've never tried one but it sounds like a concept that would work. And if it doesn't couldn't you just put a lighter spring on it?

I have no clue. But, I know that any bolt will chop, if it goes fast enough into a paintball...

If kingman says it doesn't chop then i'd assume that it probably doesn't chop. Or at least chops less. And if you have a fast enough hopper it won't chop most the time anyway. I still say go for it, for 35 dollars you can't go too wrong. And if it does chop, you still have a nice derlin bolt

Just wanted to get opinions on it...havent got it yet, the bolt was on backorder, so I didnt get it...yet, but cant wait to try it out....I know it wont chop or at least not alot, but I mean, what bolt dosent chop? I just heard people that would get the Fenix ACS and the Pilot ACS, and they said that the bolt would chop, cuz it was aluminum, when delrin is more flexible....anymore opinions?

An aluminum bolt will just scratch up the inside of your spyder. Derlin is nice because it doesn't scratch and you don't have to oil it.

it also swells in humidity which could cause friction on the bolt or inside of the gun... although i doubt in vermont you would need to worry about that. if any of the oil comes up from the lower chamber with the striker in it (that part still needs to be oiled) the bolt will also swell like it would in humidity.

It dosent get very humid up here in Vermont...its nice....anyone have a Fenix ACS or Pilot ACS? Can they give any opinions on this? I was looking at the Fenix for a while, but I didnt think it was worth the $370 that Kingman is asking....Anyone got more opinions?

What is also a good bolt, beside the ACS bolt?

Tigershark, superfly, and aka lightning bolt.

Try and go for derlin bolts. Eliminates scratches, and looks cool

Now, I knew someone would say something like that, thanks!

Did you have a motorized hopper, or gravity hopper? I had a gravity hopper before, when my gun was stock. I actually shot once full auto without one chop, very rare, but has happened...only that one time, then I would chop like crazy....

Does anyone have a t-board with Eyes and a ACS bolt? I am thinking of getting a T-board w/ eyes, but not sure if it would be a good thing or a bad thing, but I would imagine that a t-board with eyes, and a ACS bolt will definately be the ultimate no chop machine....
Great opinions guys!! Thanks!
