New Spyder Imagine 2004 - What extras to get??
I already ordered a 14" SP Progressive Barrel and Empire Reloader 2 hopper. Whats some other cool stuff I could get for it? Not too expensive. I was considering a drop forward or trigger. Please be specific. Thanx.....

Well, for starters I would consider you getting the new Kingman ACS Bolt. After that, look into getting some of the new Dye Sticky grips for the Spyder E-Frames, if you dont like the stock plastic grips. You might also want to consider buying a regulator.

ok, lets start with some stuff to understand
BUY UPGRADES YOU CAN BRING WITH YOU TO YOUR NEXT GUN!!!
Buy a VERY GOOD HPA Tank that will last you, i suggest a 45/45 or a 68/45, i have a 68/30 and i am kicking myself because for 20 dollars more i could of got a 45/45. The aftermarket ACS Bolt makes a big difference (buy mine used !). Well as big as a bolt can be. Also, you can bring your hopper with you to your next gun, and inline reg also. So look into those upgrades first... get a good mask, a good pack/pods, and hopper (like you have). Knee pads.. you get the idea, stuff you can use with every gun, because upgrades to the internals do not make a big difference, esp when you are shooting a spyder. Spyders are great guns, dont get me wrong, but dont make my misstake and upgrade the **** outa your spyder. Someone said that to me, and i ignored their advice. Trust me, a few upgrades, but get mostly stuff that will increase your game with whatever gun you have. I am trying to sell my bolt, but i would suggest purchasing the other stuff i mentioned first before even considering it. The imagine is a great gun out of the box, the only thing i would maybe suggest is a 50gram switch, and they are like 2 dollars at radio shack or 5 dollars on ebay, THATS IT for market specific...
Maybe buy a cheap 1 piece barrel (10-16"). But you are going to outgrow that gun faster if you play paintball and stop worrying about upgrades. I am telling you, in the long run, its cheaper to buy a used higher end gun, then to upgrade your spyder to make it like that, by 3 or 4 fold. And then, the spyder will never REALLY be as good. Focus on learning the sport, this marker is your ***** right now. Learn how to tune it.. The best upgrades you can get right now spyder specific can be done by yourself (polishing bolt, drilling the asa/valve, shave the hammer to make it lighter, mess with the springs to find a better ratio).
But this is just my advice, i went from Imagine to Mech Cocker and now have an Ebladed cocker on the way.
Good Luck, any questions, feel free to aim me
