Spyder

I just got this Spyder Shutter gun and since i got it it has had frost come out the end. Because it's it's to cold. It has had a ball break in the barrel. And a ball get jammed in the elbow but it came down with a shake. I changed the elbow so now it should work. Is this ok or is it bad. I plan on going paintballin saturday so is it going to be ok.

do u know how to take ur marker apart? I suggest doing this, then run a squege through the top chamber. This should solve any probs caused by the break in the chamber.

The frost is acutally ur co2, it is either very cold, or u are shooting fast for it, since it is a liquid in the tank, and must become a gas sometimes it will not expand fast enough causing the coldness and frost. U will have to get used to that. Maybe u would want a 6stage expansion chamber?

oh hell yes tahts to cold for co2. Ok see co2 is liquid in the co2 canister like i said. When u shoot the gun it goes through the hoses and body. This gives it a chance to expand into a gas. Now the colder it is outside the harder it is for co2 to expand since it needs thermal energy to do it. Also w/ it cold outside co2 has a very low possible pressure (in room temps co2 can create about 850psi when expanded) and since the pressure is to low, ur gun will not shot right.

Understand so far?

that expansion chamber is only a single stage. A 6 stage expansion chamber is better b/c it forces the co2 into gas form, instead of the single, which only lets it expand. Most decent 6stagers cost like $30.

Just unscrew the old one and put a new one on. 6 stage would be the best choice.

no you can take off what you have there now without taking anything else off. Then when you get the new expansion chamber thats all you need no new hose or anything else.

No, the brand does not matter. I think 32*(*=degrees) makes some ok ones. U will simply unscrew the front grip thing (which is ur expansion chamber) also take off the co2 adapter. Disconnect the hose from the expansion chamber, then screw it on the new chamber. Screw chamber onto gun, and reattach the rest.
