"How To Achieve Turbo"
In this thread I will show you how to turn your Electric Spyder to having a turbo mode with some other features. Remember this is field ILLEGAL and you can mess up/break your board.
Take 2 wires and solder them to the top 2 poles of your microswitch, it might be the bottom 2 if your microswitch is flipped. Now for a ghetto way to turn it on and off you can put the 2 wires together or you can solder a small switch to it.
Make sure those wires don't touch anything metal on your trigger frame, you can risk the chance of frying your board. Now turn the turbo on but flipping the switch or wires....which ever way u did it.
Now test it out, once you turn your marker on it will shoot once....but click your trigger once and it will shoot, relese and it will shoot again. Now go into 3 shot burst and try it, you dont have to hold down the trigger...just click it. Same thing with full auto.
If you do this mod on the T-Board (or any other aftermarketboard) it will go into a setup/diagnosic mode. To disbale the turbo just remove the contact with the wires or flip your switch off. Then if you want, turn your marker on then turn on your turbo and it won't shoot at first.
Another way: I've recently found out by just useing foil you can do this mod too. Just follow the same steps without soldering. Just make sure you keep it thin, if it's too thick it might touch the metal grip frame and fry your board.

So how come i havn't seen anymore information elsewhere on this mod? Do you have any pictures of what you have done? Also is the mod basically like a "Response Trigger Mode" pull once and fire and then on the release it fires? I have an older model imagine and wasn't sure if it would work on it.

Well, I just got new Dye Sticky Grips and I really don't feel like taking them off. I guess i'm like the first on this board to post it. Wait till Fiki comes back, then he'll back me up.

so.... let me see if i have this right.
single-shot mode:
squeeze tirgger = 1 shot
release trigger = another shot
3-rd burst mode:
squeeze trigger and release = 3 shots, no need to hold trigger down.
auto mode:
squeeze trigger and release = full auto....... until hopper empties?? do you squeeze trigger again to stop the firing??

For full auto, it will keep firing untill you turn your marker off. Only advantage I see for this one is more bps but you'll cap your board too easy. But it's still fun. I haven't tried this mode with any pballs or air. I've only done it empty, full auto does get annoying after a while.
But anyways yea, you got it right gil_ong81. If you have 6 shot burst then I think it'll do the same thing for 3-shot....but 6 times insted of 3.

Not much trouble, just solder 2 wires and connect them. Another tip, before you solder put the wires against the slides and test it to see if it's the right one. Where's Fiki when u need him?

Jesus talk about a dangerous mod. The gun fires once every time you turn it on? Sounds like the gun is being modified to fire with the trigger switch either NO (normally open) or NC (closed).

That' what I warned about on my first post. Just don't turn your gun on untill the game starts. If you add a switch (like a said before) then you can turn your marker on then activate the turbo and you'll be good without the shooting of turning your marker on.

I am not the one to flame, but that dosent seem like a very good mod, especially cuz its not field legal...also, you have not pics to show us on this, but I get the strategy behind it. It gives your board a few more BPS, correct? Meaning, the stock board, on a imagine, will now cap at 26 BPS, instead of 13, or will it still cap at 13?

Stock boards will only go to 14 bps. Get your board upgraded and it will go farther. Next time read, I already stated that its not field legal, so just don't assume that I didn't mention because I did. This weekend i'll take my grips off and take pics for those of you that won't do anything without pics.

I know it isnt field legal...I said that...you read next time....I know you hafta upgrade your board to get more BPS, but it seems this mod will double your BPS, cuz the trigger pull. One trigger pull = 2 shots, and the board will only count one trigger pull as one shot, so then if one trigger pull equals 2 shots, wouldnt it double the BPS?

The board will count it as 2 shots per trigger pull. Unless you pull it really lighty then it clicks only once.

the board will not cycle any faster just because it registers 2 shots for one click. there is no increase in bps, there is only a decrease in trigger pulls.

If you walk it the board won't get any faster. But with one trigger pull its 2 bps insted of 1, so that's increasing it too.
