Spyder bolts

I will be getting a lathe sometime soon so I will beabel to make things like bolts and valve pens, I was wondering how much I could get for a hand made solid derlin bolt (I guess that makes it made in USA too) for the spyder? And maby I can make other brand bolts but I would need to get one to measure.

Wow, that would def be worth it for the bolt, the only diffrence between my bolt and stock spyder bolt would be my bolt is mine is higher flowing and the dowl that connects to the stricker would be not removeable.

Wait, solid delrin? That would be so nice, now they are just 1/2 and 1/2.

yeah, they would be solid because they would be easer to make. I supose I could engrave my name in it . But like I sayd the 1/2" dowl that cnnects to the stricker will be unmoveable. Also I dont have the lathe yet.. I could still deside to not get one but if I dont I will probly spend my money on somthing that wont last as long.

make the bolts and sell them for $25 and get a customizing opyion and charge $35 for the customization cuz if all that cost more than a regular delrin bolt noone will buy it.

Actually, I wouldn't expect more than $10-15 per bolt. I know thrill-tech used to make high flow delrin bolts for around $10. Timmy bolts also go for around that much used, so those would be your competition. Now, if you made it out of Nylatron GSM blue, you'd have something because you would be competing with ACP. I would say make strikers instead because nobody does.

As far as the blue bolt, just don't copy ACP's design and you can probably get between $25-30 depending on your design features and quality. I would probably give you around the same for a nylatron striker. You can't just make the whole thing out of Nylatron though. I have designing ideas that I'm willing to share on the strikers if you need them.
