Sick for over a month
Well I decided to vent on my sickness here... maybe Medic will be able to help... I was sick since late december, around christmas time.. It felt like a stomach bug, nausia, i felt like I was going to throw up but only threw up about 2-3 times in reality.. I missed 2 weeks of school in the begining of january to it.. I went to the doctors the first time.. he gave me nasal spray under the suspicion it could be my sinuses dripping into my stomach.. Well I didnt feel better.
I went back again, I got blood work done.. and I got an ultrasound done to rule out apendicitis. Well they said everythings normal and it's probably just a bug and itll pass... I felt fine for a while but then, it came back to haunt me.. Right now I'm looking for a GI Specialist/Gastroenterologist (sp?) apointment for a second opinion. I've been sick since December and it sucks...
blagh

Yah I hope you get better. I guess you could say I've been sick for about 2 months now with my MRSA, considering they traced it back to something I had on my ankle near thanksgiving. It just keeps coming back in all sorts of places, even where the doctor put the needle in my arm, and what's gay is I have to pay for their mistakes. It's like they don't even care anymore, everytime I ask what I can do to get it out of my system they really just give a "I don't give a **** just get me my paycheck" response. Oh well, I figure if I've given up on worrying or being scared about it.
Hang in there though.

I'm no medic, but I do know that a strong immune system can help fend off tough illnesses. Eat lots of vitamin C. Eat Flintstones tablets liek candy (but follow directions on the bottle). Fruits and such.. And especially honey.
Eating honey when your sick is something that goes way back in my family in Algeria. My dad told me about how my grandma would give him pure honey to eat when he got sick.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's a $30 copay each time i goto the doctors, the nasal spray was $35... So i mean i spent around $150 on this right now and Im still not cured... Thanks for the support guys, im still waiting for medic's feedback
edit - yeah alpha.. ive been eating alot of fruit and stuff lately, better than my usual bad eating habbits, which also might play a factor in this sickness of mine... my doctor said it could also be psychomotor caused my depression or anxiety. anythings a possibility at this point
