Well, the other day, I somehow locked myself out of my car while it was idleing in my friend Jodie's driveway. Im a freak about locking my car, and I guess it was just instinct to hit the button as i was getting out to go check out her car. Well needless to say I was pissed and I needed my spare key. So I had to call up my mom who had to go to my dads and get the key and bring it to me. All in all, my car was stuck idleing for about 30 minutes while I waited for a spare.

Well, after pondering for some time I came up with a solution so that I (and you) will never get locked out of a car again.

Step 1: Aquire Spare Key

Step 2: Aquire Shoe

Step 3: Aquire Cat (Optional)

Step 4: Remove Sole from Shoe

Step 5: Insert Key Into Sole

Step 6: Insert Sole

Step 7: Profit

Now, unless you plan on running around your car barefoot, this should work for you. Works great with house keys too.

Is your car a Nissan?

That's a good idea. I use to keep a spare key in my wallet, but somehow I removed it. My truck's passenger side door doesn't lock anyway, so whatever. Nice thinking though.

See, the problem with that, is that if someone wants your car, thats the first place they'll look.

the best way to keep a spare for your car is to use a magnetic key holder box. just sick that puppy on the inside of a frame rail support bracket, or cross member in a spot where only you know where it is and you're set. those things have been one major lifesaver for me. for whatever reason i have a tendency to leave my keys in my truck(no other vehicle, just my truck) so i've saved myself a ton of pain by having a key holder. one of my reasons for finially getting around to getting one was when i went MT. biking one day i locked up my keys, fortunantely i had left my window partway down. i managed to get my hand and arm inside just enough so that i could use a stick to lower the window enough so that i could get to the door handle to open it. glad nobody saw me doing that...

Lol thats my biggest fear is that I'll never lock myself out of my car again, forget its there, and throw them out when they get old and I get new ones. But hey, its not like its got a chip in it, ive got 5 copies, and to make another would cost a dollar.
