All I can say is to definitely be excited and don't worry about being nervous.

I've gone to prom twice, being the old college freshman that I am, and I had a blast both times. It's easy to get nervous because you won't know what to do, etc, but no one knows what they're doing either if you're a junior.

Def get hyped up for it- it only comes twice, so you should make the most of it. Not necessarily getting it on with a girl or getting crunked, but go to the Afterprom parties and do wild stuff while you're dancing, hangin out, etc. The worst way to think of prom is as a dance...it's much more than that, it's an occassion that can define how great high school was if you make the most of it.

Treat your date like a queen, drive safe, don't be afraid to be crazy, don't go to bed early, take lots of pictures, don't get drunk. You'll have nothing but good times if you follow that advice.

My prom sucked royally. We weren't going to make the big entrance in a limo like everyone else we were just gonna walk over with a group of friends, but it started raining so everyone hopped in their cars, so I got my dad to drop us off and he was gonna drop the car off nearby for me to drive to the afterparty.

So we get inside and within 15 minutes I realize I didn't get my keys back from him, so I try and run him down to where he was going to park it. It stopped raining so its just extremely humid so I run three blocks in my tux in the humidity sweating my ballocks off. Get there to find the car parked where he said it would be with my keys locked inside. Money. So I'm searching to see if our old hide-a-key is still anywhere to be found, no such luck, so these two old drunk bastards start giving me **** cause they think I'm trying to break in. Sure a kid dressed in a tux trying to break into our old Ford Tempo, right.

Run back to prom, phone home, no answer, wtf? Start freaking, keep calling home for like 20 minutes, then I see my parents and aunt strolling down the hall. They were at the hotel bar having some drinks while I was running around downtown looking for my keys. So I get my keys and head back to prom.

Find my date who was pretty bored since she didn't go to my school so she didn't know too many people. Then my friends tell me they are heading to the afterparty. It's like 9:30, I haven't even been inside the prom hall for 5 minutes yet and they want to leave. I don't know the way to the afterparty cause its at a friend's beach house 90 minutes away. So I say forget it, my date wants to enjoy the prom you guys go ahead.

It actually ended up ok cause we just went to my cottage together and made the most of things

there are 2 chains, but when the jacket is closed it covers one of them up, and you cant forget the suspenders underneath the coat either

2 of my buds wore em to prom. next year at sweetheart (valentine's day dance) we're wearing an assortment of colored suits. I've got orange. Or camo...considering I've got my camo tux just chillin aorund. All of us are gonna stroll in in different colored suits with matching hats, gloves, and canes.
