in hindu mythology there is a monkey figure...i dont think he is a god, but i know he is a friend of god
wen hinduism began...it was a monotheistic religion...the reason there are so many gods in stories, is becuz priests and monks needed to explain different morals through stories....so they said god took this form and came down...
another reason u see all these names is because in different parts of india, people have different names for the same diety (form) of god...for example, Ram is called Rama, Ramayana, Urachindul, Sarathi, and like a thousand more names.
when the europeans came...they misunderstood it...and confused even some indians...
i follow the original hindu beliefs that there is one god and you do get reincarnated
